In our MOTHER+ interview, our founder Ananda Edelstein shares her journey from food editor to mother and entrepreneur. Inspired by her personal pregnancy ritual of eating dates in any which way in her last month of pregnancy, Ananda transformed a simple, nourishing practice into a brand focused on wellbeing, celebration, and convenience for mothers.

"The name ‘Final Dates’ came to me because, for many women, eating dates in late pregnancy is a small ritual while life feels full of ‘final moments’ before the baby arrives. I wanted to create something indulgent, purposeful, and giftable for mothers," Ananda explains in the feature.
