FINAL DATES is made to feel like you’re tucking into a box of chocolates. It is the perfect treat to pamper yourself, or a special mum-to-be gift.
Our mission is to provide soon-to-be-mamas in their third trimester with an indulgent pregnancy treat that effortlessly helps them enjoy more dates to reap the fruit's labour-supporting benefits.

FINAL DATES is a woman-owned small business based in London. Our chocolate date truffles are made by hand in small batches.
We handpick the plumpest organic Medjool dates, melt high-quality organic and vegan dark chocolate to perfection, and mix the ingredients with intention.
We never use preservatives or artificial ingredients—just simple, wholesome goodness.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
Hi, I’m Ananda! I'm a food writer, editor, and recipe developer with over a decade of culinary and food media experience.
From training as a professional chef in New York City, to becoming the senior food editor of a major U.S. national magazine and having developed 500+ published recipes in my food media career... I've developed one of my most exciting recipes yet: The chocolate date truffles that have launched FINAL DATES!
The idea for FINAL DATES came to me in the early days of the newborn haze. I had my fair share of dates for weeks before my due date. Friends, yoga instructors, and my doula all recommended eating a handful of dates every day in the final stretch. So I'd eat them whole, sneak them into smoothies, and stir them into my morning porridge. Quickly, boredom set in.
Then I made homemade date balls to make it more exciting, and I'd snack on those to hit my daily date goal (I even stocked my fridge to enjoy them as an energizing postpartum treat!). Yet, I wanted something better, more decadent, more special.
I was pleasantly surprised when our baby boy made his arrival on his due date.
Am I saying that was directly correlated to dates? No. Was labour easy? No, of course not, it’s labour! But, the supporting research makes me think that all those dates I ate helped and made it all a bit smoother.
My dream is to bring a little extra sweetness to the mum-to-be and make it easy for her to enjoy more dates in her day with a box of chocolate date truffles, while making her feel super special (like the WARRIOR she is!).
