Final Dates Joins the Buy Women Built Community

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news: FINAL DATES has been accepted into the Buy Women Built community!

Buy Women Built is a powerful collective of female-founded brands, united by a mission to champion women entrepreneurs and inspire the next generation of business leaders and ultimately, help close the gender entrepreneurship gap in the UK.

As a business created by and for women, joining this community is an important milestone on our journey—and an opportunity to connect with like-minded founders who believe in the value of female-founded brands.

Personally, two staggering stats (see below) highlighted by BWB really stood out to me when I was first considering starting FINAL DATES.

- A staggering 80% of 11-18-year-olds are unable to name a single female entrepreneur.

- Children are four times more likely to think of a man than a woman when they hear ‘entrepreneur’.

I find those two pieces of information unacceptable and quite sad, and also fill me with drive and motivation to push forward while continuing to support women-owned businesses. Hope it does the same for you reading this!
